Venue - Durack (down the back, through the herding yards and turn left at the gate. We have signs on the fence/gate. )

2 trials each time. The first trial starts at 9am, the second starts soon after the first and we run in reverse order.

The first trial starts with Master, then Senior, then Novice and then visitors.

If you just want to come along and see if Earth Dog Trials are for you and your dog, your dog can do a test

run during the visitor’s time, and you can pay the entry fee for the trial on the day.

EARTH DOG TRIAL REPORT

There were 15 dogs entered representing 8 breeds.

Four dogs earned titles: Ch Amzact Bellflower (Jack Russell) and Ch Tintenara Rum Runner (Tenterfield)

are now Master Earthdogs - Rummy is the first Tenterfield Terrier to earn this title,

Ch Fell Kenrick Cobbler (Imp NZ) (Border) achieved the Novice Earthdog title,

and his litter sister Ch Fell Butterscotch (Imp NZ) passed Introduction to Quarry.

Ch Ouwittlemate Maxamillion SE (Jack Russell) successfully achieved 2 passes

and now needs only 1 more to become a Master Earthdog while Ch Bravehunt Bitter N Sweet NE achieved

another pass towards her Senior Earthdog title and only needs one more pass to qualify.

EARTH DOG TRIAL REPORT

Just to let you know the results from our double EDT today. We had 16 entries in our first trial & 14 in the second,

but managed to get 4 new Senior Titles up for the day & 2 new Novice Titles.

Total of 6 for the day, which we were very pleased about.

Brescot Miss Esmerelda SE (Millie) WHWT:- J Willmot (Only WHWT in Aust with ED title)

Ch Bekkri Thanx Fthmemories SE (Sybil) Dachschund Std Smooth:- Lois Johnstone

Ch Amzact Working Wonders SE (Jordie) JRT:- S & C O'Connor

Ch Amzact Krafty Krusader SE (Cruz) JRT:- S & C O'Connor

Novice Titles gained by:
Ch JRWessex Trapper John NE (Trapper) JRT:- M Boole

Ch Tineentara Rumrunner NE (Rummy) Tenterfield Terrier: Bourke & Croft. (First one to gain ED title in Qld)

EARTH DOG TRIAL REPORT

The earth dog trial conducted on the 5th November 2006 attracted 21 entries.

It was decided to conducted two trials as there were enough judges contracted to do so.

This trend is happening interstate. And committee resolved that in future we would run two trials on the one day.

There would be no extra charge to the club for use of the grounds. The rational is that there is too long between trials.

We trust that the club will support us in this endeavor.

Waglett Jilly O'More gained her master title this now gives Steve O’Connor five dogs in his kennel with master earth dog titles.

This a first for The Club and indeed for Queensland and Australia.

One dog gained a pass in senior earth dog and now requires only one more pass for her title. Not bad as she is eleven years old.

Two other dogs gained passes in novice trial so a good result all round.
